Who Am I ?

My name is Blue Cuevas and I created BluesCue Designs. I am a graphic designer specializing in logos and corporate identities although I also do projects that require other graphic requirements such as brochures, posters and a whole lot more. I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts, Major in Advertising, in 2006. Since college I have worked in a number of design agencies as well as in the corporate world. Now, I am on my own in the design field and I love it. There’s something about designing that gets me excited and eager to jump on a project that comes my way.

Since starting out last 2009, my designs have been featured in a number of international logo publications such as LogoLounge 6, LogoLounge Master Collection, Logonest 01 and IHeartLogos 01 and have been recognized in a couple of global competitions like HiiiBrand 2010 as well as Brands of the World 2010.

How much would it cost me to have a logo designed?

Each logo project is different in a number of ways depending on the scope of the work needed- such as the number of initial concepts, the timeframe of each project, rounds of revision, etc. To be able to give you an accurate quote, you may download and answer my logo design questionnaire and email it back to me. You will most probably get a quotation in less than a day or two at the most.

Once I hire you, how long does it take for me to receive the initial designs?

It usually takes me around 5-8 days to present to you the initial concepts but it really depends on the scope. Before I show them to you, I do initial research; then I start sketching and brainstorming based on the information I gathered from the logo questionnaire you answered. Once I have sketched up a number of good ideas, I thereafter render them in the computer and promptly send them to you. You may check out my detailed logo design process over at my About page to give you a better grasp on how I will be designing your logo.

I will be using my logo on various materials, what are the file formats I will receive upon final delivery?

I will provide full color, flat PMS and black/white of the design in vector AI and EPS file formats along with copies low-res PNG and hi-res JPEG. As for stationery designs, a press-ready PDF will be provided where the text is already outlined.

Do I get any proof of ownership over the design?

I give ownership of the design(s) to you without having to sign anything. But if you’d need proof, upon request, I can easily draft an agreement. Generally, however, I reserve the right to display the design in my portfolio and to enter them in publications and competitions unless an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is agreed upon. If an NDA is used, an additional 30% fee will be added to the total quotation I gave you. The NDA usually applies to outside design agencies that collaborate with me to create designs for their clients.
