About

Want to know me better?

I am Blue Cuevas and I started BluesCue Designs back in 2008. I mainly focus on the creation of unique logos & marks, but I also develop brand identities. Besides logos and branding, I also do other design requirements such as packaging design, icon design, commercial print, hand-drawn typography and various other graphic designs.

After graduating from college, I immediately entered the advertising industry where I learned the basics and absorbed the art of strategic thinking. From advertising, I proceeded to corporate where I was able to learn not only the technical side of designing, but also techniques to further broaden my skills.

When you look through my works, you will see that my designs live by one word – simplicity. I go by the principle that “less is more”, especially when it comes to logos. The logo may look simple, but behind the simplicity is complicated research, study and years of experience. I combine all these in every logo I create, and I come up with a unique design that will be both deeply meaningful and aesthetically pleasing.

Since starting out in 2009, my designs have been featured in a number of international logo publications such as the LogoLounge series, iheartlogos books, as well as the LogoNest volumes. I have also won a number of international awards from Best Brand Awards, Brands of the World and have been acknowledged in the HiiiBrand worldwide competition.

I believe you’ll find that you will be in safe and competent hands.

A few words from my previous clients

” Wonderfully inspired design, great response to my requests for fine-tuning. Result is way beyond my expectations. ”
- Pink Flamingo Farm

” Fantastic job from start to finish! This designer fully captured our vision of what we need. ”
- Legacy Collection

” Dependable!! Extremely Creative! Patient! An IDEAL individual to be your graphic designer! ”
- Romeo Marquez Jr.

” Working with Blue was a pleasure. I solicited him because I liked the clean and creative look of his logos. He did not disappoint. Right from the start, his design was on target. He made adjustments I requested, and executed concepts I had and was curious to see. While we were physically on the other side of the world from one another, he promptly responded to my communications. Blue is clearly creative, talented and technically skilled; yet, he is also courteous and professional – a super combination for a creative. I would gladly work with Blue again. ” – Palmateer Consulting

  • Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the questions that clients usually ask me.

How much would it cost me to have a logo designed?

Each logo project is different in a number of ways depending on the scope of the work needed- such as the number of initial concepts, the timeframe of each project, rounds of revision, etc. To be able to give you an accurate quote, you may download and answer my logo design questionnaire and email it back to me. You will most probably get a quotation in less than a day or two at the most.

Once I hire you, how long does it take for me to receive the initial designs?

It really depends on the scope but depending on which package we agreed upon, I would say between 5 to 14 days at the most. Before I show them to you, I do initial research; then I start sketching and brainstorming based on the information I gathered from the logo questionnaire you answered. Once I have sketched up a number of good ideas, I thereafter render them in the computer and promptly send them to you.

I will be using my logo on various materials, what are the file formats I will receive upon final delivery?

I will provide full color, flat PMS and black/white of the design in vector AI and EPS file formats along with copies low-res PNG and hi-res JPEG. As for stationery designs, a press-ready PDF will be provided where the text is already outlined.

Do I get any proof of ownership over the design?

I give ownership of the design(s) to you without having to sign anything. But if you’d need proof, upon request, I can easily draft an agreement. Generally, however, I reserve the right to display the design in my portfolio and to enter them in publications and competitions unless an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is agreed upon. If an NDA is used, an additional 30% fee will be added to the total quotation I gave you. The NDA usually applies to outside design agencies that collaborate with me to create designs for their clients.
